Another alum who had a death in the family, Celia Roderfeld Full's husband Ricky died this week. His obit was in the Telegraph this morning with Richard Callahan's. My thoughts and prayers are with both families. And all of you have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!!

Christopher Full, 37, passed away at 4:01 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009, at home.

He was born April 7, 1972, in Alton, the son of Ricky D. and Celia (Roderfeld) Full.

He worked at Wal-Mart in Wood River as a stock clerk and formerly had worked for FedEx for 14 years.

He is survived by one son, Christopher Michael Full II of Canyon Lake, Texas and other family survives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George V. Full, and Albert and Audrey Jeanne Roderfeld; and an uncle, Bob Full.

Christopher's father, Celia (Roderfeld) Full's husband, Richard (Ricky) Full died just before Memorial Day this year.

n celebration of his life, visitation was held from noon until time of memorial services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
