Denise "Dede" (Edwards) Duckworth, a resident of Aurora, Illinois, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on March 21, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on December 5, 1951, Denise is survived by her husband, Gerry Galloway; her children, Sarah Gonzalez, Melissa Borchers and John Duckworth; and her grandchildren, Paige and Leah Gonzalez and Lukas Borchers.
Denise loved to display her culinary expertise. Her fiery personality will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd, Suite 100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, would be greatly appreciated.
Visitation was held at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville, Illinois. Interment was private.
