Robert L. Finn

Robert L. Finn, 69, of Alton passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Alton Memorial Hospital.  He was born December 29, 1950 in Alton to Mario “Pete” and Margaret (McNish) Finn.  Robert was a member of the Alton Eagles Aerie No 254 and was retired from Owens Illinois Glass, where he worked in the maintenance department.

He is survived by two daughters, Amy Marshall of Wright City, MO and Elizabeth (Tim) Ducey of Chicago; two sons, Robert Finn and Stephen Finn both of Alton; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Dennis G. Carroll

I grew up in the same nieghborhood with Bobby Finn and later worked at Laclede Steel in the summers working through SIU Carbondale. Lost contact with him after those summers as I was going to and from Alton to Carndale to school. He was always a great friend and glad to see me when ever we played in the Milton road area . Key thing , he was always glad to see me, not many people like that in your life. God Bless, D. Carroll

I'm a kid that grew up in the Milton Rd. area and, Dennis Carroll, I remember Bobby, also. Condolences to his family.
