Frank W. Kuchnicki Sr., 59, formerly of Alton, passed away at 7pm on Friday, April 22, 2011, at his residence in Yakima, Washington. He was born on May 26, 1951, in Marburg - Lahn, Germany the son of the late Boguslaw and Anna (Glockner) Kuchnicki. Survivors include one daughter and son in law: Erika and Ed Jacobs of Godfrey, one son: Frank W. Kuchnicki Jr. of Alton, one granddaughter: Sophia Jacobs of Godfrey, two brothers: Peter Kuchnicki of St. Peter's, Missouri, and Gary Kuchnicki of Alton.
He was employed as a security guard. He enjoyed photography. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Private inurnment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
