Allen Reed Jenkins, known to his friends as “AJ,” passed away on May 21, 2020, at the age of 69 years at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg Fl.

In 1969 Allen joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War era. He was honorably discharged in 1975.

He worked as a jack of all trades and master of none but retired from the City of Pinellas Park.

He was preceded in death by his mother Willa Jean, his father Warren Reed, and his son Joshua Ray.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years Randie and his sons Kenneth (Patricia), Michael (Pamela), Jason, Jacob. Pop Pop will also be fondly remembered by his 7 grandchildren, Kayla (Joseph) Stowers, Tyler, Bailey, Noah, Hannah, Kathryn, Sarah and 2 great- grandchildren, Bryson Stowers and Jaxson Stowers, by his sister Marcia (Roger) Berry, and his brother Eugene (Jessie) Jenkins. He will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, a Funeral Service cannot be held at this time. However, a Celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined as “Social Distancing” guidelines are lifted.
