Deborah M. Dreith (Parham)

Deborah M. Parham, 61, received eternal rest on Saturday, April 14, 2012. She was born on Jan. 18, 1951, in Alton, Ill.

She was the daughter of George H. and Treva (Reeder) Dreith.

She was a graduate of Alton Senior High School and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She was employed with United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for 19 years, retiring in 1989. She was a faithful member of Bethesda Temple Church, where she served as secretary.

Deborah was formerly married to Anthony Odell Parham Sr. of Columbus, Ohio.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Parham Jr. of Fort Riley, Kan.; and Daniel Parham of Alton; and Rebekkah (Dante) Morrison of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Dante Morrison Jr., Demetrius Morrison and D'eanna Morrison, all of Columbus, and her Bethesda Temple family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, who raised her from infancy, Jiles L. and Willie Mae Reeder.

Visitation will be from 9 until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Bethesda Temple Church. Bishop Lawrence E. Brown will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded

Memorials may be made to Bethesda Temple Church, 512 Spring St., Alton, IL.
